Join us for the ultimate MILSIM CHALLENGE. We will be simulating a light infantry patrol base and compound raid followed by regular gameplay. Two ticket types available: $35 - Infantry Platoon (the full MILSIM experience, instructions on how to conduct light infantry tactics) and $15 Insurgents (Literally sitting around all night, some BBQ, some small patrols into the surrounding hills GUARD DUTY FOR HOURS, and cheap airsoft the next day). Both positions get gameplay all Saturday morning. This will not be for the faint of heart, some basic physical fitness will be required. The Infantry Platoon will be conducting a 2 mile ruck march out into the hills, setting up a patrol base, conducting recon patrols, identifying enemy positions, then reporting back so we can plan an assault on the enemy compound. Insurgents will be pulling guard duty, training for “THE STRUGGLE AHEAD” and conducting security patrols.
We will start Friday at 6-7:00PM and conduct pre-combat checks, break into fireteams and squads, assign everyone to a platoon, and then start the mission briefing. Step-off will be at 8:00PM or later.
Normal gameplay will start around 8AM Saturday. Late people can be insurgents Friday night. Saturday Morning play is $25 for those who don’t show up for the overnight portion.
Required Infantry Items:
1a - Boots. Good ones. we’re hiking 4 miles total, some of us more.
1 - Full Camo Uniform (some in size medium available for sale - super cheap) any pattern, just must match top and bottom. Strong preference for US patterns like multicam. Don’t be special. If you have multicam, bring multicam.
2 - Load bearing equipment. US style, Light kit preferred, simulating light infantry.
3 - US Style weapon - preference for M4. 6x Midcaps or 2x High-caps. the rest of your ammo and mags stay in the car. NO SIDEARMS (most light infantry don’t have them, they will get lost on the ruck in). SAW or other US Machine Guns HIGHLY encouraged. We want one per fireteam.
4 - Pack. Military style preferred, no bright colors. Keep it small, this is overnight, but you won’t sleep much.
5 - 4 liters of water (1.5 Gallons)
6 - 1 MRE or whatever you want for food in the patrol base prior to step-off. NO FIRES, NO STOVES, so dry snacks or MRE heaters.
7 - Sleeping bag or Woobie blanket. Fit it in your pack. You will not get much sleep. Pads are fine too.
8 - Raingear. It won’t rain, but if it does, we’re still playing. Check the forecast and forget it if it looks dry.
9 - Shovel. Small and short. Folding shovels mostly suck. You do you, but try it out first. Not a REQIREMENT, but you’ll have more “fun”.
10 - Nothing else weird. Please.
11 - A learning attitude. We’re going to be teaching skills and giving you a chance to test equipment.
12 - Watch the Videos Linked Below!
Required Insurgent Equipment.
1 - Look like “bad guys” and hang out overnight. You’ll need sleeping arrangements, but you have your cars. You can also sleep in the buildings. Have your airsoft guns on you at all times. Be vigilant. You will be allowed to send out security patrols, and if you find us, come try and attack. More details at the event, but you are NPCs. You can play against each other in the buildings to simulate a training camp and have fun. Try not to look too… army… or too much like dumb airsofters. This will be a fun spot to be overnight.
2 - Obedient Attitude. Take all instructions from the STAFF, this isn’t a choose your own adventure, you all need to work together to cover and coordinate.
